Foster to Adopt
We understand that adopting an animal these days can be difficult. We have started a Foster-To-Adopt program and anticipate that this will enable us to save more animals and provide more forever homes! The process for fostering to adopt will be the same as adopting from us. We will use our in-depth adoption screening in the same exact way. We typically know we are getting animals a week ahead of time and will post animals on the bottom of this page that are eligible for foster to adopt at that time.
The success of this program depends on the understanding of people that if they choose not to adopt their foster animal, they must still foster them until they are adopted. You must fill out an adoption application on the next page if you want to participate in this program.
*** Due to Covid-19 we take extra precautions for everyone involved. Once you have submitted your adoption application and been approved to adopt, you will need to be certain you want the dog or cat you are interested in. You will have the opportunity to talk to our director and the foster to answer any questions you have before you adopt. In order to protect our fosters and adopters from unnecessary meetings we need adopters to make certain they are serious about the adoption. We will then schedule a private meeting (mask and social distancing required) after which you will be able to take your new family member home! Payment of adoption fee will not be due until the time of the adoption.
